Wireless CCTV LLC has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Field Technician to join the team based in Richardson, Texas. You will be assisting the existing team with the installation and maintenance of video surveillance and security equipment throughout the US
The Job Opportunity: Senior Field Technician
Work hours are Monday through Friday, generally between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm (may vary based on customer installation schedule); some overtime is required. The ability to work one Saturday per month is also required.
Primary responsibilities of the position include providing support to the existing team with installation, de-installation, and maintenance of surveillance and security equipment in the DFW Metroplex and throughout the State of Texas. Additional responsibilities include:
1. Installation of WCCTV Systems at customer locations/sites

Installation & de-installation of surveillance trailers & systems
-
Fault Diagnosis & Maintenance of low-voltage Camera systems
-
Surveying Sites
-
Completing installation sign-off paperwork
-
Testing of products before deployment
-
Programming surveillance cameras / Routers and equipment
-
Managing personal tool & vehicle Inventory
-
Adhering to all field safety requirements of Wireless CCTV and its' customers
2. Business Improvement
-
Assist in the implementation of improvements wherever possible to reduce costs and improve time efficiency

Assist and update production processes and documentation
3. Supervision and Training of Field Technicians
-
Assisting the recruitment of Field Technicians
-
Supervising other Field Technicians on site and, if required, in the workshop
-
Maintain quality standards within the field technician team
-
Train and develop Field Technicians
-
Identify training needs of Field Technicians via Assessments
-
Conducting Quarterly reviews of Field Technicians
-
Remedial fault analysis / technical support
-
Supporting the Company's Service & Technical support teams
Education and Experience Requirements:
-
High school degree or equivalent; 3 to 5 years of prior work experience in electronic security technology, electronics, or related industry required. Previous product installation experience preferred.

Experience with hand tools, test equipment, multi-meter, digital analyzer, and commissioning devices.

Ability to travel within and outside the DFW metroplex using company-provided vehicles.

Must have a valid state driver's license and a good driving record.

Demonstrated effective time management, planning, and organization skills, along with the ability to multi-task as this is a "hands-on" role.

Effective technical troubleshooting and problem-resolution skills are required.

Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with internal staff and customers and train other Field Technicians.

Physical requirements include driving, seeing, lifting, and carrying up to 50 pounds regularly, climbing ladders, bending, reaching, and fine motor skills/hand dexterity for using tools and computer equipment.

Advanced computer skills, including MS Office and diagnostic software (e.g., PC-based).

Compensation and Benefits
- Starting hourly rate of $19 - $21 with a potential increase after completing a 12-week probationary period.
